Eyeless Girl's name is purely conjecture, as no official name has been released. This name will be used until an official name is released.

"CAN'T SEE... CAN'T SEE... CAN'T SEE ANYTHING... THAT MAN TOOK AWAY MY EYES!"

= What the Eyeless Girl shouts upon Aya examining her jail cell.

The Eyeless Girl was one of Alfred Drevis's test subjects who Aya meets as she explores the Basement 2F.

Appearance[]

The Eyeless girl is a young girl with beautiful blue eyes, as well as long blonde hair, tied in a braid on the left side of her head (though in one instance, it changes to her right side). She wears a white polo shirt with a blue collar and a red buttoned tie-like object, along with a blue skirt, white socks and black Mary Jane shoes.

Her original design is more or less the same, though she has her hair tied into two braids.

History[]

Prior to Mad Father[]

Not much of her past is known. At some point, she was taken in by the Drevis family, where she was later killed by Alfred as he took her eyes.

During the events of Mad Father[]

Following Monika placing her curse upon the mansion, the Eyeless Girl, among many others of Alfred's victims, were revived. She did not go seeking revenge like the others, as she was more concerned with finding her eyes.

Her existence is first implied when Aya heads into the Mansion 1F Reception Room. Upon approaching the fireplace, Aya says that she thinks she hears someone crying.

The Eyeless Girl is properly encountered in the Basement 1F Passage. If Aya examines her cell, the young girl screams that she can't see because Alfred stole her eyes. If Aya later obtains a jar of eyes and heads back to the jail cell, the young girl tries to grab the Eyeless Girl's attention, to no avail.

Heading back to the Mansion 1F Reception Room, Aya realizes the crying she heard earlier was coming from the Eyeless Girl. Dousing the fires with either a bucket of water (original/2.02 version) or some flame retardant (2020 remake), she drops the jar of eyeballs into a hole that leads to the Eyeless Girl's cell. Returning to the Basement 2F Passage, the Eyeless Girl exclaims she found her eyeballs and places them back into her head. She then opens her cell, thanks Aya for her help, and then disappears, leaving behind a Gem.

During the events of Blood Mode[]

The Eyeless Girl plays the exact same role as she does in Normal Mode, with no notable differences.

Trivia[]

  • The Eyeless Girl strongly resembles the protagonist of The Witch's House, Viola. However, it should be noted that Viola has green eyes, while the Eyeless Girl has blue eyes. Their outfits are also very different.
    • It's sometimes said that Viola's sprite was ripped from the sprite of the Eyeless Girl from the original version of Mad Father. However, this is untrue, as the Eyeless Girl sprite is a free graphic resource originally distributed from First Seed Material (now defunct). Any developer can freely use and/or modify it, as long as the original is properly credited. (Here is the sprite sheet with the original Eyeless Girl sprite).
